Sphaerosymphony is driven by live data, experimentation, and community input - and there are several ways you can be part of it.
The core of Sphaerosymphony is real-time air quality data, and that comes from the Sensor.Community network. You can add your own sensor by ordering a pre‑flashed Airrohr kit - these come with the software already installed, so you simply assemble the components, connect them to Wi‑Fi, and mount the sensor outside your home or workplace.
Once your sensor is live, its data will feed into the experience - giving your location its own unique musical theme as air quality changes.
We’re looking for testers to try out Sphaerosymphony and share feedback. Testers will receive a thank‑you voucher for their time (for coffee, books, or online stores).
This could mean:
Interested? Contact us to sign up as a tester - we’d love your input.
You can help simply by sharing the project with others. Post photos, talk about it, or encourage local schools, galleries, and community groups to get involved.
Here’s what the process looks like - these photos show a sensor installed by one of the project participants at their home. It’s a straightforward process: connect a few cables to assemble the components inside the tube, attach the unit to a suitable wall, then connect to its Wi‑Fi via a mobile phone or laptop to configure it - and the sensor is up and running.
